Olga Bograd, the founder, owner and the main designer was born in Moscow, Russia and received a well-acknowledged education of a professional art critic. Having studied all various kinds of art, from ancient to contemporary, from poetry and literature to fashion, costume, fine arts, theater, jewelry, she finds her source of inspiration in a mixture of trends, cultures and styles.

One can argue that in modern times you can hardly find anything new, never seen before. Hundreds and hundreds contemporary "masterpieces" find their prototypes in the works of good masters of the old times and produce numerous dejavu's. Yet, every designer working in Bograd Art is convinced that you have to know your roots to create something new and original. Therefore every unique piece of jewelry produced by the team of BOGRAD ART is at the time fresh and familiar, modern and classic.

Choosing SILVER as the main material for our fine jewelry BOGRAD ART is absolutely conscious of the disastrous environmental impact that silver mining has on our Nature. Of course, the minimal consumption of silver by Bograd Art for merely creative purposes cannot me compared to the major silver consuming industries such as photography or electronics.
